B. Design Eligibility

A candidate seeking admission to the B. Design (Fashion Design) programme must have:

1.   Passed Higher Secondary Certificate (Std. XII)

·         From Maharashtra State Board or any recognized equivalent board

·         From any stream (Arts / Commerce / Science / Vocational / MCVC / NIOS)

2.    Minimum Marks

·         45% aggregate marks (Open Category)

·         40% aggregate marks (Reserved Category – as per Maharashtra Government norms)

3.   Subject Requirement

·         English is compulsory

·         No specific stream restriction

OR

·         Passed a full-time Diploma (minimum 2–3 years) after Std. X from a recognized board/institution.

4.   Important Notes

·         Programme duration: 4 Years (8 Semesters)

·         Only female candidates are eligible (Women’s University).

·         Lateral entry rules may apply for diploma holders (as per university norms).
